The North Alabama Chapter of the National Society of Black Engineers Alumni Extension (N AL NSBE-AE) had its Seventeenth Annual Scholarship Banquet March 4, 2010. It is our mission as an organization to increase the number of culturally responsible black engineers who excel academically, succeed professionally, and positively impact the community. To fulfill this mission, we believe in starting at the most elementary level and inspiring completely through to the professional development level. By providing scholarships to students in the North Alabama region, we are able to plant positive seeds. 

At the 2010 scholarship and awards banquet, we will recognize the achievements of outstanding North Alabama area students. Congratulations to: Myrath Kowac Jr., Devan Ray, Destiny Battles, Brandy Robinson, Syerra Franklin, Chelsea Alvarado, Heaven Fryor, Marcellius Moore, and Nicholas Britton."
